Once the newly laid ply has been fitted, the work area is then swept cleared of any dust and debris, ready for fast priming and Vapour control layer.
Once the area has been cleaned and fast primed, the VCL is then installed to all upstands and to flat area with an overlap of at least 50mm. This is to ensure that no moisture gets into the system from under the roof or above it.
After VCL, insulation is then laid staggered across the roof and glued down with insulation adhesive to insure there is no movement in the boards.
After all insulation has been glued down, all areas are then fast primed, followed by a layer of carrier membrane to stop and further moisture getting under the system.
Now that the carrier membrane is laid, all concrete detail upstands are primed to ensure the coatings will adhere to the wall. Once cured, liquid resin is then laid with a reinforcement layer to make fully waterproof after a cure time of 45 mins to 1 hour.
For the final step, the liquid resin is then laid to to floor with a reinforcement layer. All air is rolled out from under the fleece to ensure the system is fully adhered. It is then coated over top with a consumption of 3 litres per square meter.
